Conditions governing our couture commissions, ready-to-wear orders, and atelier services.
1. Artisanal Nature of Couture
Each Mehmooda Aftab ensemble is handcrafted by generational karigars using traditional techniques including dabka, vasli, and marori. Subtle variations in embroidery density, needle placement, and dye shading are hallmarks of authentic artisanal craftsmanship, not defects.
2. Bespoke Commission Contracts
Bespoke commissions are accepted upon receipt of an approved design brief and agreed advance payment. Commission cancellations are not permissible once textiles are cut and artisan embroidery has commenced.
3. Intellectual Property
All silhouettes, embroidery designs, campaign imagery, sketches, and texts displayed on this website are the proprietary intellectual property of Mehmooda Aftab. Any unauthorized reproduction, commercial copying, or derivative exploitation is strictly prohibited.
4. Pricing & Currency
Prices on our website are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include applicable domestic taxes. International conversions are indicative until transaction settlement at prevailing bank rates.
Legal Discretion
Official contractual terms are issued with individual bespoke invoices. Formal legal policies remain subject to Mehmooda Aftab management discretion.
